Wife. Mother. Daughter. Artist. Gardener. Creative. There are too many ‘lables’ I could put on myself at the moment that I stopped trying to define what it is I do anymore. I love to create with Mother Nature and the gifts she offers us. I REALLY like sharing what I create with other like-minded people. Here, you’ll find anything from my latest art collection and how I created it, to flavored simple syrups for cocktails + kombucha, or new apothecary goods I am formulating. I am NOT a painter but for the last few years, I’ve been making Wild Ink from plants around my garden and sharing the color swatches on the blog for others to use in their own creative practice. I am a multi-passionate creative and this space reflects that.

I believe knowledge is power, and I believe in sharing knowledge with others. I am passionate about merging creativity + nature together and that’s why you’ll find most of what I share is free. Sometimes that is in the form of a blog post or a quick video on my YouTube Channel.

I want to spend my days and years working in my garden, spending time with family + friends, creating art + making cool shit. I want to share what I learn along the way in hopes of inspiring others to tap into their own intuition and magic.

You can find my stock photography portfolio for Herbalists, Poets, Artists, + Creative Entrepenours with Cavan Images here.

During the pandemic, I created a small book of my basic skincare products that I spent the better part of 10 years forumulating + tweaking (and still use!) and offer, Forrest + Thyme Apothecary, Simple Skincare Formulas You Can Make Uniquely Your Own, as an ebook to help you get started on your own natural, homemade skincare journey.

Garden Notes, my latest book, is a combination of journal, planner, + tracker all in one. A purpetual journal to keep track of your physical garden (or internal one) with plenty of space to document your creations, formulate your own potions, keep your gardening plans organized, etc. This hardcover book is meant to be kept as a family heirloom for generations to come—a precious heirloom passed down through the ages, carrying the wisdom and magic of your practices.
