I was wondering the Virginia State Arboretum during one of my walks (I am so blessed to have them in my back yard) with one of my vintage film lenses attached to my camera one winter afternoon when I looked up and saw this tree with the sun shining down on it through the medow I happened to be wondering. I knew when I clicked the shutter that it was going to be a favorite image- and it still is.
