Clarity Bath Tea

*This post contains links to products I actually use. They are not affiliate links + I do not recieve compensation for sharing them. (with the exception of my own book) I just believe in sharing products with you that I myself use and find helpful along the way!

During this past Winter Solstice, I had wanted to take a hot bath + read a good book to honor the first day of winter and the longest day of the year.  I got an intuitive hit to add dried Rosemary, Yarrow, + Wild Rose Hips to my bath salts, paired with essential oils of Patchouli, Fir, and Rosemary.  Yarrow was the highlight of this intuitive message and that evening as I was laying in bed, just before I was pulled into sleep I received a message of clarity on a topic I had been asking for. It was a pretty powerful message, one that is taking me into this year and I thought what better way to honor that message than to share it with you!

What I found interesting after doing some additional research on these 3 medicinal plants, is that all are used in treating colds + flus; timely for the winter months too!

In addition to using this mixture in the bath, I’ve been drinking this as a tea blend with adding a little bit of sage + ginger to the mix with a bit of honey to sweeten it up.

Rosemary

Rosemary is used as a symbol of Remembrance. Remembering where I’ve come from, the path that has brought me to where I currently am. It is used to support + strengthen the nervous system to help prepare me for where I want to go. Considered an uplifting herb, it can aid in soothing sore muscles.

Yarrow

The cure for a broken heart, with a long history as a wound healer. It increases energetic awareness and clears the neural pathways to increase visual and auditory channels by cutting through the blocks of energetic flow.

Wild Rose Hips

High in vitamin C and good for your skin. Considered a symbol of fertility, of health and wealth. Calling love to you, perhaps not romantic love but maybe another love tied to your purpose, your life work, etc.

Method

You can use my base recipe for my bath salts found in my book, or any of your favorite bath salts as your base. I recently found these disposable tea bags that I’ve been using for all my water infusions and came in handy during bathtime. We live with a septic tank so I am very mindful about what goes down our drains. The best part about these bags is that when I am done with my bath, tea, or infusion, I simply toss the whole thing into the compost pile!  I filled the bag with my herbs + dropped into the running bath to steep during fillup and while I was relaxing in the water.

Happy Soaking!
